Position Overview
To co-ordinate and ensure Battery & MHE maintenance are up to the standards and their implementations. To provide the support needed for the warehouse operations.
Essential Job Roles:
• Assures proper preventive maintenance and routine servicing for all Batteries as well as equipment.
• Initiates process to correct breakdowns and recommends appropriate action.
• Ensures cleanliness of equipment are maintained daily.
• Promote safe work practices.
• Follows all proper operational procedures and safety guidelines.
• Co-ordinate and supports the supervisor in administrative tasks related to the maintenance.
• Plan spare parts stocks.
• Ensures operations are conducted as per the department’s procedures and the IMS procedures in place and reports on any deviations with suggestions, if any, to the supervisor/ Manager.
• Ensures the proper receipt of documentation and dissemination of accountable documents.
• Reports to direct supervisor on daily / weekly basis and updates the repair status.
• Ensure proper and efficient management of Battery maintenance functions with high operational rate.
• Ensures the submittal of all PM & breakdown reports along with pending equipment reports.
• Reviews the schedules for the day carries out operational tasks.
• Reverts with suggestions, on any probable clashes and evinced constraints in schedule to the scheduler.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
