IT Technical Support Analyst

We’re looking for an IT Technical support analyst to:
  • support the Middle-East Head of IT across several technical domains, such as Desktop/Server Infra, Data Center Infra, and 1st / 2nd level IT support.
  • solve user IT problems through the demonstration of a strong technical skill set, the application of logic and interpersonal skills
  • manage and execute local projects to resolve known issues or implement strategic change
  • ensure workflows, processes, tooling and applications are of the highest quality standard
  • contribute towards the management of existing and new IT products and services
  • define workarounds for known errors as well as initiate and take ownership of process improvements
  • maintain a knowledge database
  • become the 'go-to' person for the business on IT discussions
You’ll be working in the WM IT team in Dubai. As an IT Technical Support Analyst, you’ll play an important role in the upkeep of and strategic improvements in WM IT.

  • ideally 3-5+ years of hands-on experience with Desktop/Server Administration and Support, preferably within the Financial Industry
  • good knowledge of IT Networks, Desktops, Printers, and some Server and Telephony exposure
  • have an ability to solve complex issues, diligent in problem statement analysis & solution design thinking
  • understanding of core project management principles and desire to take ownership of issue resolution
  • track record of influencing senior IT stakeholders and business partners
  • confident communicator, able to explain technology to non-technical audiences
  • capable of understanding client needs and translating this into tickets, fixes/workarounds, products and services
