Territory Channel Manager, ClearSkies™ and Managed Security Services - Odyssey Consultants Ltd

The Role


Odyssey current maintains two offices in Europe which serve customers around the world.  ClearSkies customer base spans from the US to Europe, GCC and Japan.  As part of Odyssey's expansion plan for the GCC, it is seeking a  highly motivated local individual to drive the growth in the region.


As Odyssey’s Territory Channel Manager - ClearSkies™ and Managed Security Services you will be responsible for managing and driving sales of both ClearSkies™ and Managed Security Services through our growing network of partner resellers, in order to ensure successful partnerships and achieve revenue and expansion objectives. The initial area of responsibility will be the GCC countries with primary focus in Saudi Arabia. This role will report directly to the ClearSkies Business Development Manager, and you will work closely with the ClearSkies™ Business Development team and Marketing to build and execute partner resellers’ business plans that will include enablement, go-to-market strategies and engagement rules. You will be based in Riyadh, and the role may require travelling within Saudi Arabia and abroad.


 


Primary Responsibilities


The majority of the time will be spent with partner resellers, developing and executing joint business plans to drive partnership performance. Tasks and daily activities include:


  • Identify target partners - predominantly Solution Providers, System Integrators and Distributors – design and execute ClearSkies Channel Partner Program on-boarding activities.

  • Attend end-customer meetings jointly with partners.

  • Manage and follow up the inbound “become-a-partner” requests.

  • Oversee and assist in the preparation of proposals to partners, with the assistance of Business Development team

  • Follow-up open opportunities and proposals, with partners, until closure.

  • Drive enablement programs (technical as well as sales and marketing).

  • Develop business plans in conjunction with partners; manage commitments and actions between partner and ClearSkies™ team.

  • Lead regular calls and meetings with partners to discuss opportunity pipeline and forecast, coordination of marketing strategy and events with partners.

  • Build pipeline reports and hold internal progress meetings.

  • Prepare and conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) with partners.

  • Act as go-to resource for partner questions, concerns or issues.

  • Participate in marketing events with partners when requested.

  • Manage and process contracts and renewals with partners.

  • Participate in Global Alliances initiatives as required.

  • Success will be measured based on attainment of sales target, as well as targets related to the growth of the partner network.
